Your hosts Meegan, Brett, and along with our children are new to the Grove, we took over stewardship of these chalets and the land they reside on in September 2021.
Come to Gum Grove to relax in the quiet surrounds of the native bush, explore the many walking trails straight from your doorstep down to the river, ride into town, or walk along the Bibbulmun track. Only minutes away from one of the best swimming and surfing beaches on the south coast of Western Australia. In no time you will know that this is the place to unwind and forget about city life for a while.
The chalets were built by a Dutch Family in the 1970's, if you like a little bit of character, upcycled and repurposed furniture and nothing too fancy then this is the place for you. All our chalets are cosy two bedroom Chalets are self-contained with fully equipped kitchens. Nestled in a tranquil bush setting, we are dog friendly on request and have wheelchair access in some of our chalets, please call to discuss your needs. In all chalets - Linen, towels, crockery, glasses, pans, kettles, toasters, cooking utensils, cutlery, doonas, blankets and pillows are provided. Iron and ironing board, cots and highchairs can be provided on request.
